Almost

There was a girl I almost loved

She was almost perfect

The things she wanted, the things she didn’t want

They almost aligned as one

 

And I almost said goodbye once

I almost lost my head

But I talked myself down & gave it another try

And now I almost regret it

 

I almost lost sight of things

Then I almost kept it together

But I couldn’t anymore, so I said goodbye

And now I almost miss her.
